The space
Fully air conditioned, two story town home features a functional kitchen with granite counter tops, living/dining area with wood floors and ceiling, powder room and laundry. The second floor master bed balcony beckons you to relax, compliments of the gentle ocean breeze. Also a private backyard for relaxation. Take an easy stroll on the shoreline and enjoy our beautiful sandy beach or go snorkeling around our reef without even getting into a car! Located only minutes from the Cable Beach strip in Western New Providence, enjoy golfing, casinos or the native straw market only minutes away. Along this touristic strip you can find many fine dining opportunities. Local public buses at 200 yards away take you to the downtown area, the world famous Atlantis hotel and water park in 15 mins.
Western Shores townhome is only a short 10 minute drive from the Airport. Owners can make arrangements for guest to have taxi pick up from the airport (guest will pay the taxi driver). Additional items can be made available for families travelling with infants e.g Pak n Play or stroller. (make inquiries on these items when booking.)

Guest will have to access to an entire Town home with private backyard and grill.

During the Christmas, New Year and Summer months you can experienced our cultural Junkanoo Festival..Our Local Cuisine is unique and delicious! There are opportunities to sail around the island and visit nearby Cays.
Located near beautiful beaches on the Western end of New Providence. 5 minutes Walking distance to beaches and restaurants. Grocery store 15 minutes walk. Located in residential area.
One astraunaut while in space looked down on the Earth and saw something sparkling like diamonds... He said, " wherever that is, when I get back I will visit there!", It turned out to be the sparkle of the clear pristine waters of the Bahamas! If I didn't live here I would vacation here!

Publix Buses are available from about 7am to 6pm. The bus waiting area is only a 2 minutes walk from the property. Rental cars are available from the airport which allows for more exploring and night time activities.

The rental unit is hosted by my husband Adalbert and I. We have just opened our calendar on this site in September of 2017 to receive bookings. We live right next door to the unit and is therefore readily available for questions, concerns or tips on how to make your visit to Nassau a great one. We love meeting new people and having a place to give them more of a local feel of the Bahamas.
This home is beautiful. Not only super clean and comfy. but has a washer/dryer for convenience. We arrived to a cold unit with Karen offering a complementary bottle of wine as she told us where we can go and things to do. I'm planning our next trip with her already.
Friendly, quiet, local and easy. The hosts are just wonderful people and they made our stay very easy. The location and amenities are as described-- easy walking distance to beach and a local restaurant, a bit further to some additional places. A very nice local place to stay with best hosts we have experienced.
Karen Denise's place exceeded our expectations. Not only was it better than advertised but it offered tangible extras which enhanced our weeklong stay tremendously. First, the place was fully stocked with dining accoutrements which helped us save money on shopping costs. Next, there were beach toys, floats, goggles and boogey-boards which the kids in our party loved tremendously at the beach down the road. Third, there is an authentic Bahamian cuisine restaurant- Nesbitts which we frequented at least 3 times in our 7-day stay, as well as conch salad and bbq vendors right down the street.Finally, I was pleasantly surprised by the neighborhood basketball court and fishing opportunities at the nearby Sweeting Park which provided a lot of enjoyment for the kids. In conclusion, the price and location were just right for my family of five and our week-long vacation in Nassau.
I had to cancel do to a business obligation and Karen was nice and accommodating.
